Biography
Lilian FM’s diverse background includes a wealth of experience in art direction, graphic design and illustration. As a child she filled drawing pads with brave heroines and remote landscapes, a passion which inspired her to become an illustrator. Traveling down a path through several editorial art departments and marketing, she discovered the joys of manipulating consumer response through layout and color. Her direct response efforts achieved impressive sales results for Hearst, Time Inc. and American Family Enterprises publications, and she picked up two notable awards along the way: one from one from Women in Direct Marketing International; the other from Crain’s Communications.
Captivated by the Internet’s capacity to deeply engage consumers, Lilian switched her creative focus from print. Since 2001, she has designed a variety of web sites, combining her expertise in marketing with artistic innovation.
Striving for excellence in all her endeavors, she meets every client’s needs by listening carefully, ensuring all goals are met. She has a talent for turning challenges into victories, working smoothly with the most difficult, and making it all look effortless.
Lilian graduated from the New School University with honors and received an AAS degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology where she was elected to the Dean’s List. When she is not in her studio whipping up computer code, she can be found stirring pots in her kitchen or sailing along the Atlantic coast. With her diverse talents, interests and accomplishments to date, Lilian brings a unique sensibility to her work and innovative approach to communicating each client’s brand story.
